Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you provide services? Do you have an office?

We come to you! Services are provided in your home, where children feel most comfortable and where communication naturally happens. We believe the best progress occurs in real-life environments—using your child’s toys, routines, and interactions with family members to support meaningful and lasting growth.
We currently provide in-home speech therapy services in Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Cary, and Apex, NC. While we do not have a physical office at this time, virtual sessions are available for families outside of our in-home service area.

What ages do you work with?

We specialize in speech therapy services for children from 18 months through age 18. Our approach is tailored to each child’s developmental stage, communication needs, and family priorities.

What makes your practice different from other speech therapy providers?

Lots of reasons! But to highlight a key few that set us apart… Our practice is relationship-based, play-driven, and grounded in clinical expertise. We emphasize:

  • Functional, intentional, & relevant communication goals

  • Parent collaboration and coaching in every session

  • Fun, individualized, play-based, and motivating activities your child will want to participate in

Do you require an IEP or medical diagnosis to begin services?

No. A medical diagnosis or IEP is not required. We believe in meeting children where they are—whether or not they qualify for school-based, hospital-based, or clinic-based services. We are a great option for those that do not qualify for CDSA, IFSPS, IEPs, etc.

Can you work with my child if they are already receiving school-based services?

Absolutely! Our services complement school-based therapy by targeting additional goals, providing more individualized attention, and supporting carryover in the home environment. This is true for those that are already accessing services for their child via insurance.
